Our expert team uses the advanced Electrolux Lagoon water based system to gently clean, restore, and preserve delicate fabrics, lace, and beadwork. Every gown receives a bespoke, white glove service tailored to its individual silhouette and fabric, ensuring consistently exceptional results.
From collection through to return delivery, your gown is treated with the utmost care. After cleaning, it is professionally pressed, wrapped in pH neutral tissue, and carefully placed into a luxury preservation box designed to help prevent yellowing and fabric ageing.

Your journey with Cherish Your Dress begins by selecting the dress cleaning method best suited to your gown’s silhouette. We offer a bespoke white glove service, carefully tailored across five distinct dress silhouettes to ensure the most effective and gentle care.

THE STORY BEGINS
Once your dress cleaning order is confirmed, we will send you a carefully prepared postal pack containing clear, step by step instructions on how to package your gown securely for transit.
We work in partnership with DPD, who will arrange a convenient collection date and time directly from your doorstep. Your gown will then be safely transported to our North East atelier, where it will be received, inspected, and cared for by our specialist team.
IN SAFE HANDS
Upon receiving your wedding dress, we will contact you promptly to confirm its safe arrival. Each gown then undergoes a careful, detailed assessment to determine the most appropriate cleaning method and stain removal approach for its fabric, structure, and detailing.
If any intricate repairs are identified during this process, we will contact you with our professional recommendations and provide a personalised quotation before any additional work is carried out.
All repairs are completed by our skilled team of experienced seamstresses, who handle every gown with precision, care, and respect. From arrival to completion, your dress remains in expert hands throughout the entire process.
A TOUCH OF MAGIC
Once your wedding dress has been cleaned, we will carefully wrap it in delicate pH-neutral paper and a beautiful preservation box lif a preserve package is chosen) or preserve in a Cherish Your Dress garmentcover for Express and Clean Only services.
THE FINAL JOURNEY
Once we have completed the dress cleaning process, we will contact you with photographs of your dress and to arrange delivery.
For Clean and Preserve and Clean Only services, the process usually takes 4-6 weeks. The process for our Express Service usually takes one week.
